Living with gout was one of the most frustrating challenges I’ve ever faced. The pain of an attack was unbearable, often leaving me unable to enjoy simple pleasures in life. Like many, I turned to medication, which helped manage the symptoms but came with its own set of problems. While my gout meds weren’t too expensive, they brought unpleasant side effects like fatigue and digestive issues, and even worse, a significant drop in my white blood cell count, making me question their long-term use. Deep down, I knew there had to be a better way.
